Name: Jim Upton Vessel: None Location: Huntington Beach CA. Job:Retired | Mark; I never use a drying motor when finishing a rod. Just turn the rod every few minutes 180 degrees for the first hour and a half. It should be set up enough by then that you can leave it. If you see sags in the finish in the beginning just wick them off with your brush or spatula. I usually let mine sit for about ten minutes then turn it after wicking off any sag. |
