The 100 is slightly smaller than the MXL, the 200 is slightly bigger, although both are like a bodybuilder version of an avet. The 300 is like a 16vsx.

The sizes don't translate directly, but the TRQ300 is roughly equivalent to a Penn 112 3/0 Senator, or the upcoming 12VSX [smaller than 16VSX]
The TRQ200 is roughly a Penn 2/0 Senator or "99", and the TRQ100 is about the size of a 525MAG, but in all the above cases they are much beefier.
Can list various spectra/mono line capacity examples for the Torques if needed.

TRQ100 holds about 300 yds of 20# like an Avet MXJ, Penn 501/506/535, Torium 16, Boss 270, Newell 322/235, Daiwa SL30/SA30/STT30, ProGear280.
TRQ200 holds about 360 yds of 25# like an Avet MXL, Penn 545 GS, Torium 20, The various Daiwa 40's.
TRQ300 holds about 360 yds of 30# like an Avet LX, Penn 500/505/555/112, Torium 30, The various Daiwa 50's.

TRQ300:
450 yards of straight 80-pound solid Big Game Braid
or
300 yards of 65 pound solid Big Game Braid plus 140 yards of 50 pound Big Game mono
TRQ200:
400 yards of straight 65 pound solid Big Game Braid
or
250 yards of 50 pound solid Big Game Braid plus 100 yards of 40 pound big Game mono
or
250 yards of straight 30 pound Big Game mono
TRQ100:
325 yards of straight 50 pound solid Big Game Braid
or
200 yards of 40 pound Stren Superbraid plus 125 yards of 20 pound Big Game mono
or
350 yards of 30 pound solid Big Game Braid plus 50 yards of 25 pound Big Game mono
All of the above were wound on with a Berkley commercial line winder with the stock yardage counter, by me personally, so I know I was applying a LOT of tension during the winding process.

Marcy,
All the Torque models have a 6.3 to 1 gear ratio.
The extremely wide/oversize gearing and the ISP construction give you cranking power far beyond other high-speed reels.
I have not done cod jigging in the NE.
The closest comparison I can think of is deep-jigging for lingcod and halibut in Alaska.
I have used all 3 sizes for this, but would say that the TRQ200 filled with straight 65-pound braid is my favorite with the 6 to 10-ounce jigs I most often use.
I generally balance the TRQ200 on a 700M rod for this.
We are catching lingcod up to 60 pounds, and the TRQ200 easily handles halibut up to 100 pounds in 180 to 320 foot depths.
For California/Baja anglers using heavy jigs for "yo-yo" style fishing for big yellowtail and throwing wahoo bombs, the extra "beef" provided by the TRQ300 is nice, because even gigantic halibut don't pull like an enraged yellow.

But isn't the 6.3 to 1 gear ratio a bit high for bottom fishing with heavy lead? It will get the bait up fast but only with quite a bit of arm strength, too much in my opinion. I prefer a gear ratio no higher than about 4.5 to 1 for bottom fishing in Alaska.

Bill,
The new technology makes the high ratio "feel" different than what you may be used to with high speed reels.
The cranking power is not quite like being in the 1.5 to 1 "low" of a true big-game reel of course, but something like maybe a 3.2 or 3.5 to 1.
For bait fishing for the giant halibut with 24 to 48 ounces of lead, no doubt I want a 16VSX or other reel with a true "low gear" option.
For those "mid-weight" jigs I always seem to go to [mostly fish Sitka], I do like the TRQ200.
I haven't hooked a 200-plus pounder with it yet, but I'm looking forward to the chance.
Unfortunately, I don't know for sure how all of this may apply to Marcy's question regarding NE cod jigging.
