Yeah, I own one. Is there a new model of the 30???
And I've been waiting for the 20 also. About time they kicked it out.

The model available now is the 30T, which is taller, makes more drag, has a clicker, and a seriously F-ed up clamp. The 30T is to the 30 like the Newell 322 is to the Newell 229. The new models (20H, 30H) have the H designation for "High Speed, like the 30T, 40, and 50 H models that became available after the release of the original (OG?) Saltists. As with the Saltiga, the 30 has a wider and a smaller diameter spool than the 30T, it's like a wide 20.

I have my eye out for that 20, as well.

Re: Saltist 20 & 30 - Release in OCT

There are two 30 models in the Saltiga line and there will be two in the Saltist line too. The new 20/30 will be smaller in diameter than the current 30T/40/50. The new 30 will be a wider version of the 20 and wider than the current 30T. In the Newells, the 322 is the same capacity as the 235 but is taller and narrower. I'll take taller and narrower every time!
