accurates on order

right now they're getting laser engraved. a full set, only i cancelled the order for the two speed 270's. turns out they've decided to release a two speed 870 narrow, so i'm starting out with a pair of those. this is going to be fun!

Nothing. The lazer forms a layer of oxidation that protects the aluminum from further oxidation. No oxygen to the material = no oxidation.

why the 665/2? the 870n/2 will be loaded with blackwater spectra and berkeley's 30# hightest with drags set to 15#'s at strike. that's equivalent to most guys' 50# rigs. the 870/2 will loaded with blackwater and 40# hightest with 20#'s of drag at strike. that will go up against most guy's 60# rigs.

think in terms of drag settings, not line weight.

Re: accurates on order

Ugh, mouth watering. I am waiting for my 870 also. I'll wait for the 665 also but i'll still buy the 870, and probably the 270 . 270s are going to be the reel to kill the big local fish including albacore and blue fin, IMO.
