I'm doing some reel maintenance and found some bad bearings. Where's the best place to get replacements...Thanks

Alot of reel manufactures use OEM bearing spec. made for their reels. My suggestion is that you just bite the bullet and order them from the mfg'r. If you cant find them, measure the ID x OD and thickness and I can get them for you if there available commercially. I have been in the machining business for 30+ years and I have alot of contacts.

if you wish, you can request that the bearings be shipped open and dry. that's the way i order all of my bearings. you will need the dimensions. 6 inch digital calipers help alot here, $15 plus shipping on-line. i bought mine a couple of years ago and use it ALOT!

make sure the calipers are in both units, metric and standard.

vbx bearings they are in OC
