Re: 20lb reel

Daiwa SLX-20SHA, great reel for the price. My old SL20's are still my reel of choice for 20lb, and they are at least 16 years old.

Re: 20lb reel

I voted for the calcutta just cause they're pretty.

But my Diawa SLX-20 has seen more time on the water than the calcutta.
Cheap, strong, and light.

Re: 20lb reel

I really like my Avet SX for offshore and stuff but if Im fishing bass its the last reel I choose. Its a little much for fishing sandies and calicos.

Re: 20lb reel

Cool poll, But IMO, its not as specific as it should be, What are we fishing for, time of year, location, depth, etc. ? All things being equal & for the sake of giving an answer--------Calcutta TE, I've had it for 3 years (Caught a plenty of nice Catalina homeguard Yellowtail with it , & (In the event of a prroblem) I have found Shimano Cust. Serv. is where its at!
