as for a rod to match your rod with i would go with a 7-8' seeker 270 or 270H if you want a little stiffer rod. might be a little over $100 but not much.

I still use a Daiwa Sealine SG30 (5:1, model before the SL's) from about 12 years back for 20#. It's served me very well.

Got a Luna 300 about 3-4 weeks ago. Have used it twice so far... Sweet reel no complaints here, one of my new favorites! Of course I own 2 SXs, they are "monster reels" in a small package. Their strength is just amazing. And of course they have that awsome Avet free spool. Both of my Sxs are on Seeker inshore rods 858s.....Freaking fish killing combos right there!!!!!

penn500L the alum.hsg no weight at all I have 3 2 with 25lb pline@ 1with 30 lb big game used them as my go to desert tuna
