Drag settings

What is the proper drag setting for a penn international 30 S at full and strike position. I have 2 that I just took out of the box and need to set the drags. I will be fishing 30 lb on them.

Set it based on the line you are going to fish ... If you are going to fish 30# then I would use 7.5-10#'s at Strike (25-30% of the line strength) Your full setting will depend on your strike setting and it is what it is (they can not be set seperatly).
