how good is??

how good is a okuma convector 55w. Looking at this reel and its cheap at turners right now for 49buxx, any one know if this would be a good starter trolling reel.

If it was me, I'd stay away from the Okuma reels. I looked at the TITUS myself and chose to go with Shimano.

I have a Titus 15II that has given me no problems so far.. use it to troll 40# on my boat.

All I can say on the convector series is ya get what ya pay for...
