Okuma Reels-need your opinion

I've been looking at this reel as a possible new addition to my arsenal. It will be my first 2 speed reel. What do you guys think?

Okuma TG30II Titus Gold 3.8:1(H) 1.7:1(L) Holds 350 of 50# or a shit load more with spectra backing. What do you guys think is a fair price for this reel? Its made out of T-6061 aircraft aluminum and has 5 sealed stainless steel bearings. I am considering using it as my 60# outfit for 3-5 day trips.

Any and all opinions from you tackle ho's are appreciated before I go out and waste my money.

For the money I would go with Diawa 2 speed LD. Also in the range of the AVETS

My buddy owns a tackle shop. He took a brand spankin new Okuma out of the box to put line on it......... and it froze after 150 yds.

I have HEARD bad things. Although my brother-in-law liked his when he used to fish. Of course he USED to fish.

Go Avet baby!

Don't fuck around and get the Avet. The clicker is a tricky to engage, but has auto disengage when you crank the reel. I just bought an Avet EX 4/02 loaded with 80# spectra and topshot of 60# of choice, delivery included for $309!!! cabbagekeyrodandreel Eddy is the shit....best prices PERIOD. Sells alot on ebay too, but sometimes charges shipping when ordered on ebay to help cover costs charged by ebay.

I hear they are quite popular with Hoosier fans.

Chris... All I've heard about those reels have been negative...
There are many other brands out there to try.... Previous posters have named a good reel.

Or just get my Tiagra 30WLRS... Only asking $400, I will ship it to you for free!
