Just for the clamp. The crank/smoothness is great though. I fished one on my last trip.

diawa saltist

Just bought a Diawa saltist 50 loaded it up with Yozuri 40 lbs hybrid. Took it to San Diego and caught a shitload of giant squid up to 60lbs. I also took it to the east cape as a live bait rod. caught a few tuna up to 30 lbs, dorado and a 200lbs striped marlin. This freakin' reel rocks The reel is smooth for throwin bait. and the drag is as smooth as a prom queen's thighs. For a small package it has serious muscle!!!!Best $200 reel I have ever fished with. Can't go wrong.
