Need Help Please A better handle for a Newell???

Does anyone know if another handle could be put on a Newell. I have a 229 that I use for tady C's locally. I HATE Newell handles. I love my Trinidad handles. Help!!

I think Alan Tani is around these parts but he put a killer Pete K handle on my Newell, improved the drag and even got the damn thing to spin even more!

the only thing i can think of is looking at the handle on the red newell and see if it will fit on the black newell. if it does try and just buy the newell handle.
