Avet SX 5.1

I just bought a new Avet SX 5.1 on a steep discount due to the 5.3 being released. This is the second Avet that I have. I have one question to all you who have one of these. Can any of you tell me if it's normal for the reel to click when you crank the handle? This is not counting the time when the clicker is on. Thanks

Its normal.. What you are hearing is the anti reverse mechanism.. As the anti reverse dog engages with the teeth on the main shaft it makes the click noise.. The newer 5.3:1 model has a silent anti reverse...

I bought mine at a local tackle shop here in Anaheim. It was a lefty that they had in inventory for the longest time and couldn't find anyone buying it. I just lucked out since I'm a lefty and it was the very last one they had. I don't believe they have anymore SX 5.1.
