Would any og you guys use it for chunking? It seems these reels are more for jigging?

The reel can do it all....Chunk , Jig , Bait...Makes no difference..Get the 870 in the 2 speed model and you can have your cake and eat it to.

Consider the additional investment for the B2-Two speed for $120 more then the Single speed and you'll have plenty of Reel for any Tuna you encounter up to 100#'s.

I do prefer the 870's little Bro, the B2-270. It too has 20#'s of drag in a smaller package and lighter weight. Packed with 300 yds of 60# Jerry Brown Hollow Core and a Loop to Loop of 25# to a 40# Wind-on, this is a deady outfit. Matched with a Calstar 700M rod, this set up can do it all and land the Big ones.
