Hi All,

Lacy is as comfortable as can be, they have wonderful staff here in Childrens Hospital. She is being completely re-evaluated here and it's been the first 24 hours.

We have seen doctor after doctor and there seems to be 50 people looking after her. With all patients that are paralyzed there is a problem with secretions, our bodies get rid of nasal and other liquids that we produce but Lacys body is dumping it in her lungs right now, she has to constantly have her lungs vacuumed. Saying that we have been told that that may be getting better and they may try to take the tube out tomorrow and see how she does....

To hear her speak my name again makes me cry as I type this but it's all I hope for right now......

We are hanging in there but it's been partial sleep since last week, I may get to sleep in a bed tonight. The up and down emotional roller coaster is somewhat hard to deal with but the hospital provide unlimited Kleenex...

We were told this morning that Lacy needs another MRI to further determine
The damage to her spinal cord, last nights CT scan showed again a compression of the cord but an MRI will give the neurosurgeon the full picture, they need 4 more days though before she can have another one.

A downside is that she has not regained any movement from the neck down and each day that passes pushes any hope of recovery further and further away.

Dang man. Reading this I cannot really put it all into how I feel right now. Prayers out and God speed, hang in there and good things are coming. You know we are all praying for her, you and yours.

Neill, prayers to you and your family, the staff and especially Lacy. And remember miracles DO happen so keep the faith and keep talking to Lacy, she CAN hear you and it does make a difference. Keep us posted when you can.
