"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers, I told Lacy today how many people around the world are thinking of her, her mum cried...
They lowered her meds this morning and she got very agitated with the ventilator tube, they up'd the meds and she slept peacefully most of the day....
The neurologist said we are just going to take it one day at a time, the first thing is trying to get her of the ventilator...
When I returned to the hospital this evening the staff ran tests and actually took her off the machine for about 10 mins. The doc thought it would be best to let her sleep another night so they left it in and sedated her again, they will remove it in the morning...
I really glad as it's extremely hard to see Lacy hooked up to all that stuff and that ventilator tube is the worst.....
Thanks again everyone.....
