| Adoption
Well.....last week some one dumped a dog up by my house.....it happens a couple times a year......well this one was a really nice female and got along great with my dog so I decided to keep her.I posted some signs out front for a week just in case she was lost......not.....so I also thought the right thing to do was take her to the shelter to check for a chip....none found....and I put a finders hold on her........now she had a very swollen face and had trouble eating so before I took her to the shelter I took her to the Vet.....the Vet said it was a soft tissue sarcoma.....cancer.....I was bummed.....knowing the costs involved I got a hold of one on the Akita Rescue Organizations and asked for help........they gave me and open bank card to have any and all work done on her.....unbelievable people.......so in she goes for surgery......what was found by the vet was a foxtail that was in her skin ....it traveled about 4" causing an infection in her jaw and ear.....she had no cancer!!!.....she is about 4 years old and will be here by the end of the week.....she is taking it easy at Barbara's house.....she runs the rescue........here is the only pick I have of her,,,,,,she's just about 100#'s.........and put Beau in his place.....

I'll make sure to throw a twenty in the jar for the local rescue place when I'm picking up dog food next week.

Great job Frank............ Trying to find a good home for a chocolate lab.
Kid's mom can't keep the dog, and I have a house full already.
