Well done Frank, glad it worked out.

However, let's put this into perspective as I believe Frank's motives were nothing more than self-serving. Frank really didn't do much but save his own ass, IMO. Frank gets a call from a frantic wifey one day while we were hanging out on the boat, she says that she found a dog and wondered what she should do with it. (read: Frank, get your ass home, I want this dog, make me happy ). Do ya'll really think Frank had a choice with 2 animal-loving women in his home?... I don't think so, let's not give him more credit than is due

I worked at an animal hospital in laguna beach, those fox tails are a pain in the ass, it's crazy how far those things can travel inside a dog.

After you take your dog for a walk do a quick run down with your hands or carry a spare brush, the extra 2 minutes you take could save your dog a lot of pain, and your wallet some money, most importantly your dog won't have to go through all suffering.

Similar thing happened to my husky years ago. He a foxtail stuck in him, didn't notice anything wrong until I noticed him trembling in pain. He had an abscess the size of a grapefruit on his side. Vet incised and drained it and he was on antibiotics, everything turned out ok. Scared the crap out of me, I get a little choked everytime I think about how he was in pain and I didn't find it sooner.

Cute dog. Looks like a panda. Those foxtails can be NASTY. Had a similar thing happen to my dog when i was a kid. They just keep going in deeper and deeper. My dog had on in her ear and side..had to do surgery to get the one out of her side.

Very cool Frank! She is a pretty dog with beautiful markings. She will be great company for Beau and I bet your daughter is already crazy over her too! Nice job on the rescue!
