I have found that it is plant friendly and knocks the hell out of ants and keeps um from coming back until the following year. Dosent hurt to spray as much area close to the adjacent homes as well as it keeps the critters from taking up residence on your homesite. | Ed, I agree 100%. I put a half bottle to two gallons of water the day I was bit. My wife went to the office the next day to cover calls and there were dead spidars all over. She actually found more that same day and sprayed the hell out of them. Ironically, it still takes a bit to put them down. I prey that I, nor anyone else, has to ever go through that again.

Glad you're feeling better. Dave Hansen has a gnarly story about a recluse spider and his right knee. Maybe he'll see this.

dont plan on being done with it so soon either..got bit and the flu like fuzzy head stuff lasted 10days. no test for it, ER would not listen when I told them I got bit. that metal taste in the mouth also. if you take the anti-venom, then if you ever get bit by rattle snake, that anti is not as affective..wrong lottery to win.

15x more potent than rattlesnake venom... bastards. | But I heard a rattlesnake bite hurts more, and also was told that a sulpin sting is worse than a rattlesnake so.... I'd choose a sculpin sting, I've had one or two and it only took scalding hot water to suck out the poison and I was good, sore but good. I think we've all seen what a rattlesnake bite can do to you as far as your flesh is concerned. Anyone else get bit bad with these ?

The rattlesnake will pump you with so much more venom, so I can imagine it hurts like a mother f'er..
I'm just gonna stay away from all of them by any means necessary.

The hot water doesn't suck out the sculpin venom; it cooks it.

I did not go to the hospital, but would have today if I did not feel better. We are crelatively close to Loma Linda where the do that show Venom ER. Like I said, the WORST 36 hours of my life. I also live in the high desert, in 10 years I have only ran across one mojave green. I hear they are mean little bastards.
