royally messed up my knee

well me and the famile decided to get a dirtbike for me and a lil polaris quad for the girls. two very nice bikes. a week ago today we went out to pine valley for a little first time ride and my daughter and girl were having a great time on the quad. i decided to hop on my bike a 2007 honda crf450x and thats when the shit hit the fan. i lost control hit a little fence and the bike really messed up my left leg when it fell over on me .my left leg was bent in a very f'd up position. from the knee my leg was bent out to the left forming the letter "L". i said an uncountabble amount of profane words and waited for the ambulance. i must say that the people riding around us where very helpful and im glad they were there. after the 45 minute ride to sharp memorial. i was being x rayed which is when i found out that i had dislocated the 2 big bones at the knee. i also managed to stretch the shit out of the artery behind the knee and probably tore almost all the ligaments. i had an angeogram and then was taken to surgery where the did the artery graft and a fasciomoty to relieve pressure on the muscles. im currently in an external fixator with 4 rods in my leg. im awaiting an mri and more surgery next week. cant wait to get out of this device and start recovery. looks like ill be out of work for atleast 2-3 months before i can go to ultra lite duty and about a year before ill be close to normal again. ill have a good amount of time to build some rods once i get the next surgery done.

Dang Ray that sounds awful and VERY painful. I hope you are a football fan cuz it sounds like you'll spend the season armchair quarterbacking!! Best of luck with the repair surgeries and therapy.

im prepairing for the season because im not going to miss a game since my new home is the giant sofa in the living room which happens to be right next to the tv. it suck to have to try and find stuff to watch at 2 in the morning when i cant sleep.

thanks for all the love. im doing well and anticipating the next surgery so i wont have this crazy fixator on my leg anymore.
