Late Winter steelhead fishing action

Alrighty then, lets get a fishing report up on this 'new' Oregon Forum. The Umpqua River and Rogue River are fishing real good right now for late Winter-run steelhead as evidenced in the pictures below. The Upper Rogue is just getting its Winter-run migration and the higher, warmer water will push lots of fish up into the Upper Rogue River, Shady Cove, Oregon area. Here is a sample of what we are in store for in another week. These fish were caught down river in the Grants Pass, Oregon area recently. One of my guides also fished the Umpqua River yesterday for just two, but they were a 10# and 12# fish. Others bit but the rod holders were a little slow on the hookset.
We were side drifting for these fish using noodle rods. Enjoy.
