Ran to the northern OR coast last night and found this chromer hen..
A 1pm yesterday I hit my bro up saying I need a tug drug fix!

My buddy got a speeding ticket on the way to the northern Oregon coast.. OR State Trooper Cheif got us.. Nice fella.. gave us advise on how and where to speed.. No more than 15 over the speed limit

We arrived at the river.. Conditions were the same as last week.. High and a little fast.. This is fishy conditions.. Fish use these conditions to bomb upriver from the tidewater/bays..

Hit up a hole.. No fish.. ran downriver a few miles to a hole that I had done well with while floating for steelhead in the winter out of the drifter.... Had to Bushwhack through blackberries.. And work a pool/tailout from a 10' bluff.. Great idea until I hooked up.. had to jump into the water and work a steep bankment.. Could not follow the fish downriver.. There was a fast tailout with a root wad in the middle.. Should have lost the fish.. Got er though!! Hooked in the middle jaw/tooth line with one hook out of a treble.. #6 Chartruese Bluefox Spinner..

10 Miles into it on our way back to Portland.. My buddies transmission in his 05 Dakota Crew cab died.. So we got a tow home from triple A..
