Fort Stevens Crab Camp

Hey, I'm taking the wife and another couple camping at Fort Stevens on Sat Oct 24. Planning on crabbing out of Hammond and then hanging out around the camp fire for a crab feast and beer. Anyone else heading that way? Stop by camp and have a claw and crab butter. mmmm crab butter

I hope you have as good as weather as today. Driving down today to pick up the boat I realized I should have gotten there earlier, it was nice at the estuary. Glass smooth water and sunshine. Good luck on the campout and fire.

hey rick, missed ya last weekend in Chinook for the clam tide. looks like you'll have better weather this weekend though. low wind too but big swell @ 12'! Hammond crabbing should be lights out though.....good luck buddy!

I wanted to be there but shit happened and I'll have to wait for the next one. I did take some of last years RC's out of the freezer and made clam tacos.

I hope the swell aren't that big inside, i'm taking my wife and it will scare the crap out of her. Best to leave her on shore.

All we have been seeing is elk shit and tracks in the Keno and Hepner units but we were deer hunting in Hepner and not hunting the real elk country. We were SE of Bull Prairie Lake hunting the Wall Creek area.
