Well - I am a steelheader at heart, everything else is just bycatch I always say....

today tried something different and am kicking myself. Went up to the Clackamas today - mouth of Eagle Creek down a ways, looking for some Coho... what a waste of time. Had a choice of heading west from Salem, or up to Eagle... shoulda known! Quite a few dark 'ho's, and only saw one guy leaving with a decent fish. Hooked one in the snout, a couple others fouled.

Heading outta town Sunday for the rest of the year, so this was my last trip out. Pretty much blew it on the choice of where to fish...

Welcome Aboard and reading the funning shit on your 1st post almost made my beer flow out my nose! Most if not all of the guys here are true fisherman and will raze you any chance they can. As far as hoe fishing, Eagle (both for that matter) the hoes have been kegged up way to long to even consider keeping! I'm headed out on the big C tomorrow to see whats still swimming out there around the Troutdale area. Was headed for the Coast but with the big blow and rain comming, decided to put a cork in it this weelkend!
