I was banned from Ifish for saying my favorite clam was a bearded clam....Sheesh.... And the California hate on that board is extreme.. They seem to forget MarkMc, Salty Walty and Popeye are really Caliboys disguised as Oryguns...

I'm moving back to San Diego where I grew up...Helix High School
A 10 pound Bonita would rip the teeth out of a 30# Salmon...
Salmon are weak...Downriggers,flashers, 6 pulls, bullshit...
Let me flyline a live chovy , dean or toss a jig, plastics, or yo yo for yellows....
Am I banned yet?
Salmon do taste good... But so does a Costco chicken...

Alright I got that out of my system.......... I also attended Lemon Grove Jr high almost everyone I knew went to Helix. When are you going home????? How long have you been up here????
Got to agree about the salmon they are weak......................But the bass fishing is good and we get our shot at some good alba fishing. Fill in with a little sturgeon and river fishing.......................At least we can still fish........for the moment.

Hey Nazzi,
My parents retired in Sequim in 72 (Lots of Fish) not a lot of limitations... I went up in 89....caught lots of fish salmon,hali,(freshwater bay) and tons of lings and rockfish at Mukkaw Bay (Neah Bay) all out of a Kayak close in..
NOW many places I fished are either closed or terrible fishing except Mukkaw Bay...
So many areas where I first fished are closed...
My Best fishing buddy still lives in Spring Valley...
His Dad ran Takahashi farms out there when there used to be farms..
The real estate has gotten cheap enough I can move back and be warm when I'm fishing and ctach fish year round..
They are still catching Bluefin,albies,Yellowtail's and my favorite Bonita..I remember catching Bonita at Christmas and YoYoing Yellows on Half day boats in the winter..
OK... The reel reason....The women are better looking and skinnier too..
Should be down there in 2 weeks
