Arrived at the boat launch at 0630, underway 0700. After crossing the bar we head north and drop crab traps then west. The plan was to go to the 40x40 area and fish there. When we arrive the water was still too green so we went north west and found a pocket of blueish water. We started trolling with a mix of swim baits, cedar plugs and X-Raps. It was slim pickings. The X-Raps were the bait that was getting bit so we set the spread with 4 X-Raps and 2 swim baits. We had steady but slow action until around 3 pm then it was dead. The days score card was 3 doubles, boating one from each, 1 tripple, boating all three and boated 1 for 4 by casting iron at jumpers and a mix of singles. We ended with 9 in the box and easily 11 more that didn't. We hooked a 6 ft blue shark on an X-Rap. For us the fishing was OK, listening to the radio it sounded like it was tough and frustrating going for most with just a couple of hero boats hammering them. We left the 44 x 48 area and headed in around 4 pm. Stopped to pick up our crab traps and got 3 limits of very nice crabs.
