I don't want them up here. I don't believe the ocean should be restricted for one private company.
We, the fisherman and rec boaters were here first and should be allowed access. The Ocean belongs to all of us.
Homeland Security ? BS ! If you can fish next to an oil rig that if damaged could send millions of gallons of crude oil into the water then why can't we fish near something that is suppossed to be enviromently safe...? Our govt not listening to US again...
...and you guys are right, lets see how well they can handle a beating during the winter here...the design engineers are probably from Arizona...

Nuc has issues but they can be addressed and the modern reactors are far safer than the 40's technology models they are curently running.

Just a random thought here, but our public lands are quickly evolving into areas where folks can stake a claim. We fisherman have not done a good job in following this change in public policy. Instead, we have simply been relegated to fishing where ever there is public access. I would like to suggest we become more pro-active and stake claims much like coastal communities have been doing, the environmental community has been doing, and now big business has been doing.
Again - just a random thought that I would like all of you to consider.

Staking a claim on a reasonable portion of the ocean to stay open to fishing sounds like a good idea, but how to go about it??
As of now, the majority of people and funds that are in control have set aside an area for the fishermen... In a museum..

Well, we have lots of examples to follow. I will be exploring these options from a legal standpoint. Wave buoy guys are a great example. If they can apply for exclusive use permits in public areas, it should be open to the rest of us.
