OAC Annual Ledgend trip.

We fished somewhere west of the butterfly. The entire fleet was in the area. We had an early stop around 7ish, I am guessing, who has time to look at their watch. Anyway, pretty much wide open for a while. Flop a dine and your on. We had only one trolled fish all others were on bait. I spent a good deal of time watching my son catch his first albie. There are allot OD Pics floating around, mine were primarily of my son bent. You know, the proud papa stuff.. anyway, here are some pics of the trip!

In the afternoon we hit one small patty which yielded 70+ chickens and one striper for a nine year old on the boat. he played with it for 15 to 20 minutes on 25lb test when it released itself.

The albies ranged from 25 to the jackpot won by Kyle at 45 lbs.

There are allot of pics floating around of some bloody decks, I will try to find em and upload later.

Sounds like a great trip! 1 patty for over 70 albies and a striper?!? How come I can never find those? Congrats to your son, and way to go Kyle!

Yep, and pinky is leaning against the cabin. There are some pics of the after affects of Pinky eating an albie heart floating around somewhere, actually, so is the heart.......

Funny stuff.

Nice catch. I always end up slaughtering massive amounts of fish on that boat.

Re: OAC Annual Ledgend trip.

Gotta love the Legend, fished 4 hours for limits on the Cortez bank a few years ago with a number of BD members, it was memorable.....

Congrats on a great family trip.....
