Report for June 13!

went out on an overnight trip among the prowler. only ten guys on the boat!! woke up 4:15 to bait fish going crazy along the boat. noone is up but an older guy and said there is not supposed to be any fishing until daylight. i talk him into dropping some megabaits to see what is chasing the bait! SQUID! never seen or caught them before, was pretty cool. but were not able to keep any because they are supposedly illegal in mexican waters. the cap. woke up and started moving along, i got tired and cold sitting on the back of the boat so decided to lay back down. woke up to a boat full of hookups. played catch up all day...lost 4 or 5 and boated three, two of which were not too bad.

That would be news to the multi-day boats that target squid as a premier bait. They must not have wanted to clean up the ink

NO, it's illegal. They fall under the NO Mollusk laws.

Look's like a pretty good trip thank's for sharing.
