Moochers suck!

you are exactly right about all your statements. it is about learning and you can't learn by acting like a lamprey on a shark. but, when the paddy's are few and far between and you just want a shot at some action and a guy is literally parked on top of the lettuce, are you really poaching that guys paddy if you A) aren't anywhere near his boat or paddy b)completely staying away from the boat/paddy by drifting or trolling several hundred yards away? imo if i were to do that i wouldn't be poaching his paddy, just working the fish around it. of course, just because i would not be near HIS paddy doesn't mean i would throttle up to move the boat or do anything to cause the fish to sink out.

Re: Skunked Thursday

Fightin' on the puter is like the special olympics....even if you win your still retarded. You can have your opinion and I will have mine. Its a big ocean that no one owns...I guess that is the bottom line. I guess I would have a different opinion if I had even on commercial boat ask to come to my patch of lettuce.....They don't ask....They just stroll in like they own the fucker. I am done with these 6 pack or commercial fisherman treatin' personal boaters like me like shit because we dont have a boat of people to catch fish for. They act like were insignificant and stupid because we didnt choose to fish for a living. So I dont think that the intrepid was monitoring other channels or hooked up on a fish, He just didnt give a shit because its just some shitty personal boater....So my bottom line is that until I can get the same courtesy from these guys that i extend when I ask to come to THEIR paddy...Fuck em. If they want to pretend they dont see me, I will move right in every time. Patty etiquette is not a one way thing.....if someone is polite enough to ask, at least give em an answer and dont puss out. Nauti-girl didnt do anything wrong.....in fact she followed the general protocol. First pull up slowly, then ask to fish the paddy. The only proble was that that particular boat was too busy to answer him. Dont use the fishing excuse because I have waved many people in. The guy on the paddy just didnt give a shit and i dont have room for that. I treat everyone onthe water as I would want to be treated. If someone hailed me....I wouldnt ignore them. I certainly wouldnt be yelling and swearing at the dude. The guy that ignores you when your politly trying to contact him is probably the same guy that drives on by when your shootin flares....been there...
