9/9 Yft + 1 tail

Started at the 182 for uno rat off paddy. Lots of paddies just sw of 182. Found MASSIVE pod of porpoise in this vicinity. Followed the pod from the 182 all the way up to the outside 226 for 12 yellowfin to 20lbs. They liked the wood very much.

good luck!

is the 182 as far north as they're running or will they head up through the catalina channel?

somene caught one just outside the avalon bank about three weeks ago, so there's a very good chance they'll head that way. but there's an equally good chance they'll stay on the outside. depends on where the porpoise go and where the bait goes and what water temps do.

CONGRATS on the 12 fish!!!!! AWESOME report.

Awsome. I'm also hoping they'll be around for a while. Hopefully my boat'll be done or at least done enough to get me out. I'm fishing freshwater ( secret trip ) on Sunday so hopefully Saturday.
