390 Area Report for Sat 11/15

Headed out with Shinerunner on his 23' Striper. Cleared the point at about 6am and headed for the temp break near 5 and 40 that Kevin and Jason fished all week.

We weren't as lucky.

Found a few prime paddys with nothing on them and then a few skippies on the troll.

Finally we found a couple of paddies that kicked out limits of 6 and 8# yellows. Kept 10 and released as many.

Tried chunking, yoyo and surface iron for tuna for nada.

Sounded like a few guys got a handfull of tuna, but not WFO by anymeans.

It's hilarious to hear to same one or two guys on the radio all daylon bragging about a couple of 20# tuna they caught 5 hours ago. WTG guys...

Anyway. Great day on the water. Nice and warm for most of the day with some light sprinkles in the afternoon.

Had a blast.

Yikes, those are some blackass clouds, I Exclaim as we make San Clenmente. I looked at Tim and said Bud we're in for it, but we kept on going, made Dana landing
as they opened the market, (pissed spent 20.00 in the market )

I've had a few trips end quick that way.. SUCKS.

Solution... go get a BEER or 12, and watch the Chargers fumble and bumble around the field.

Good job on the Yellowtail's Ali, The fat lady is howling.. I think your getting the last of the season (where have we heard that before?)
If this wind stays up or my cold gets any worse, Tuesday is iffy.I'll let ya know.

Find me a small baja boat under 5k! I have been looking at junk so far.

Fuck it man we would have gone today and caught some Yellow Fin Tuna it may have been our last chance..untill January for the annual Aluminator trip.

nuttin wrong with pulling on yellows! at least you walked with some nice table fare. i hope the tuna stick around just a touch longer...cant make it out again till thanksgiving week!! way to go ali.
