I don't have the words to express our sympathy. Cody, your Dad sounds like an outstanding man. I hope the precious, and joyful memories with your dad will ease your families pain.

God speed,

The Beckers

Cody,

It is done. I feel so helpless and I know that this gesture is a small one, but it is the best that I can think of for now. I have changed the Dedication in my Bigeye Troller's Bible to you and your wonderful dad. This way he will not only live on in both of our memories, there will be a legacy that bespeaks of what he was for a long, long time, hopefully one that you can show his grandchildren.

A little gesture, but heartfelt and the least that I can do for such a splendid man and his fine son.

I can hear his words..."Be strong, my son. And remember the good times."

Cody,

I'm very sorry for the loss of your Dad.....

I spoke with your dad on one occasion and we PM'd about aluminum boat building, I wish I had spent more time with him, from what I've seen here he was a great man.....

Dang, I can hardly keep the tears from flowing and I am not a religious man but this passage always gives me solace in times of such tragedy.

Psalms, 107:23-30, KJV
"They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep. For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end. Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven."

My most heartfealt thoughts and condolences to Cody, his family and all that were positively influenced by the life of Marty McMillan and it seems there are many.
