8/6-8/6 El Capitan

I got on a 2 day on the El Cap this weekend. Boat Limits of Albies (limits for me) a few yellowtail (up to 20 lbs), a skippie, and a single yellowfin off a kelp patty. I don't know exactly where we were, but it was 90-100 miles and we started with the rest of the fleet Sat morning - there must have been at least 20 boats. Midday, we lost the fleet and caught a wide open evening bite that lasted from 6:30-dark. I was fortunate to win the day one jackpot at about 35 lbs. After galley, it went to the crew.
