Father's day weekend on the waatoosee

Got to the #'s at 5:00am sat. morning get the jet heads in the water and get a double of skippy's at 5:10am. I'm thinking to myself "ah shit here we go".

Put them back out and within a couple of minutes, BAM, double, and there screaming out, it's the right kind. Get a couple net loads of bait out, and it went absolutly crazy for the next hour. We had our limits and were done at 6:30am.

Really nice grade of fish down there. albie's were going 15-25lbs, with our hogs going 28lbs.

Decided to wait for Gabacho Gordo and Dos Panchos comming out of the coral.

Pass off some bait to them and then we start heading for the coral. On the way, we come across a paddy with puddling Yellowtail about two football fields diameter around it. That preceeded to go balistic for about an hour. Called in the rest of the crew and the bite shut down, wouldn't know!

We get into the coral at around 3:00pm to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with everbody, and a killer dinner.

Day two, we decide to go to the inner banks and give it a try with Ay Chihuahua on board for the ride home. we get a albie on the troll. Then we find a paddy at the 238 loaded with Yellowtail. Fished it for a hour with the highlight being Mathews 25lb. Yellowtail.

With the boat totally plugged, we called it a trip an ran for home. Back to the dock by 3:00ish.

What a father's day weekend for me and my son. Thanks again Frank for a memory my son and I will have for a lifetime.
