8/29 Victory at sea and some footballs

Launched Tues night around midnight plan was to check out the warm water Highway the ssts showed running south. At greylight we were (Myself & Charles fishstalker) down at the 475 knuckle and it was SNOTTY! decided we would work the west side of the temp working North rather than go any further south in case it got any rougher. As it was we were getting the crap beat out of us at 6kts trolling. Trlled back up the line stopped on several dry paddys that were rolled up like cigars, Saw one marlin jump but that was it for 5 hours. About 10 mi S of 425 water temp shot up to 72.5 from 69.5 started metering bait saw some birds and whales and thats where the tuna were, Footballs ours were only 6-12 lbers but fun, And tasty. Theyre eating real small bait so they didnt want sardines, But they were murdering the big feathers. Weather finally laid down a bit about 5 miles fron the islands we pulled them in and ran in at 20kts with just an occasional back breaker
