| 6/6 - Stay HOME!
Went out again with Clint on New Guy.
You know those days when neither one of you wants to suggest turning around? Somebody should have....
It was ROUGH AS HELL from 0-15 miles out. We're talking 10mph in a solid 24' boat. Outside was still rough, but the wind laid down and it was fishable.
But the inner bank Albie bite is no mas.... We decided to let others work the 425 while we checked out the upper finger. Trolled for 3 hours for nada. Worked/trolled 10 nice paddies for nada.
I think everything is now down below and outside. Talked to Papa J and Wildcat who were on the 117 line and doing very well on some alberts and Yellowtail.
Not for us, too long of a run in that weather.
Headed for the barn at about 1pm. 20mph on the outside and as soon as we hit the 15 mi mark it was victory at sea.
My ass is whipped....
Getting in jacuzzi now..

Wind should turn off tomorrow while all you guys are at work. Leave those innerbank fishies to Kep and I.
Thats what you get for fishing on a day that I have to do housework. buhahaahahha! BTW yesturday we had limits of albie and Yellowtail... I could have told ya that finger area was the suck. We fished it on the way back up the line...

Misuse is right, that is happening alot lately. We had a good time anyway, thanks to whomever announced a big paddie south of the 425. A bunch of us hung around that and scratched up some yellows. We only boated one eight pounder. The new guy had the hot stick and poor knot tying skills so he endured unending abuse after loosing 3 in a row from unbuttoned hooks, so we made the best of it until the blue sharks shut down the bite. Most everybody we encountered today were pleasant nice people so not a bad day for me.

| Where's the new Cat?
That would have made for at least a more comfy ride. Aren't you supposed to be taking it to the East Cape in a week? Not leaving much time for breaking in the new twins or shakedown
It was an asskicker of ride from San Clemente back down to O'side today as well. F%&$ing washing machine big time gunz gunz

It was FLAT SNOTTY on the inside. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Outside was fishable with a big swell and less wind.
My new boat is supposed to be done in about one more week (how many times have I heard that).
I had to postpone my East Cape trip a month because of the delay.
Not a very happy camper at the moment, but I'm sure it will all pan out.
Thanks.
Ali

I fished with John today and we scored some nice alberts and several yellows. I would have turned back in my boat, but in a 46 San Miguel it was bearable Pretty decent day on the water and heard that some big fish are coming up the line. Be CAREFUL out there, today wasnt meant for boats under 35 ft.
