Here goes, YELLOWFIN TUNA moving up the inside line from COLONET, these fish are in the 12 to 20 pound range. Watch as on the outside are schools of White bellys which ARE carrying fish , these fish are pushing from the back end hard.
OUTSIDE the lower 500, kelps are been spotted with Yellowtail and deep marks showing TUNA. the lower 500 is showing yellowfin tuna also in the 12 to 20 pound range, with kelp holding DODOs.
In reguards to kelps, the last couple weeks, more kelp are being seen with DoDos on em and BIGGER Yellowtail. On the inside edge is that of bait balls in and around said patties. Things are looking better as the full moon phase is playing out.
Blue Fin Tuna seen on the 60, and 2 spots seen on the Cortez, yes they are still there cause who in the hell is going to fish em? There is no one left for the U.S. Fleet..
NOTE: Bigger yelllows seen on patties, more bait seen also. the yellowfin are moving up th eline at a good rate and even with the local spotties taking a few, thats nothing to whats heading our way... Its not over by anymeans, just a moon phase I think, then again WTF do I know.... Have fun fellas and try to take a kid fishing will ya...
oh yeah, alomost forgot, I good size school of BIGGER TUNA was seen 35 miles southwest of the BORONADOS

Thanks for the info, I think you are absolutely correct on the Blue Fin Tuna on the 60 and Cortez. Unless you have the guts and the range to get out there, most fisherman just wait until the fish get close enough to SD, by that time the seiners are all over them.
I have the guts to go out there, just not the range to get to the cortez on a 22ft as it gas and not diesel. If I had a big fuel bladder, I would definetly do it with the good weather recently...I would rather have a boat ride and a shot at a big bluefin than catch a bunch of little yellowtail.
I hope we have some fishing commando's willing to get out there and prove the Blue Fin Tuna are still out there....
Thanks again for the info...
C.

I hate to sound like a dummy but, about where is the lower 500?
I new to the board and me and a buddy have been talking about going out in the next week or so and I've seen the lower 500 talked about about a month ago but I don't have any idea where that is.
thanks for all the reports I've been reading.
Mike
