7/9 Albacore at 182

Sweet and simple. Headed out to the 182 at 630am. Put lines 4 miles short of the high point and headed SW. Got 8 on the boat. Black and purple feather got hit the most. Weather was perfect.. Get out and enjoy it.. From the radio, it seems fish are spread out from the 181 down to the 371.

Re: 7/9 Albacore at 182

Thank you for the info.

Tailman and I are heading out Tuesday. Damn choices: 182/181 for albies or 302/371/425/islands for albies+ yellers.

Guess we'll decide at the whistler buoy.

Sounds like the smart (frugal) money forgoes bait and heads to the 182.

PS If the weather holds, we'll try getting our tin boat (Trailer Trash) out there in the next few days.

Kman, It's a good predicament to be in, huh???? Better than deciding to stay at the rockpile for ling's or going to the Dumper for scattered albies...

Rick, Congrats on the fish. Glad you got into them

Kurt it's a nicer ride home from the 182, you'll see! And I think you can find plenty of paddy Yellowtail a few miles NW from there

Nice going today Rick...I was the guy that stopped in today and asked you how you did when you were washing your boat.
