well, after recovering from last weeks 250 mi. 90 fish mayhem, (new paddy record for the Baja bum) went back for more punishment. hit a paddy at 70 mi., steady action for 4 boats, Yellow Fin Tuna to 15 lbs,Yellowtail to 25, dorado to 20. 34 fish for us, about the same for the other 3 boats. fished out the bait, but managed a few more 20 lb. Yellowtail slow trolling dead sardines by a paddy on the way back. nice day fishing with Paul and Jim (freespool) also on the paddy was Ambusher and Finsanity, who caught a real nice bull, about 30 lbs. My buddy called me later and said when he was cleaning it, he found some kind of seabird in its stomach,a little smaller than a gull, may be a diving bird? guess he was hungry. next time I run out of bait, maybe i'll try using a bird  ---bueno suerte Bajabum

Time to start slow trolling half dead birds for big bulls...Those things will eat just about anything...Great report and congats on some tuna...

Dave, nice seeing you and freeespool at the ramp.....I was glad to hear that you got yer fuel pump straight shortly after I left the ramp. I was listening to you guys on that paddy whacking the tunnies and was thinking that i should have made the run down south....I ended up with two bulls just over 20 and a few Yellowtail's.
