1-1/2 on the "AMIGO" on the "BUTTERFLY"

hey guys sorry for the late post, but ive been busy lately. left on our day and a half on monday the 6/05 to fish the 6/6/06.(almost went out with 13 anglers too ) anyways heres the report. decided to run to the butterfly to see if we couldnt put the first good count on the albies. guess what not too bad. first jig strke 6:30am. bonehead (12lbs). second jig strike 15lb albie. 4 bait fish. baitfish went 35lbs. next stop kelp paddy. rat yellows!! best stop of the trip was our third jig strike rite off a paddy. double jig strike to albies. 9 baitfish 8 albies 1 bluefin. all ana all very productive day. at about 3:30pm conditions changed. we pointed for san clemente island. got there about 5:30pm. hung a few more yellows and all the bass u wanted. wfo on the calicos from the time we got there to the time we left. left at 12:00 am. final count:
25 albies(15-38lbs) 1 bluefin(20lbs) and 25 yellows (8-18lbs) all for 14 anglers. ill try to post some pics but i dont know how. maybe i can email to someone else and they can upload them on my thread. good luck evryone. lots of life out there. witha big swell 8-12' REMEMBER GUYS we put the count out of NEWPORT LANDING!!!
