OK, now that I'm human again,

here are the details. As Saturday was my birthday,

my best friend Ken had made us a tee time for 12:15 for golf at the Vineyard.

After golfing on the hottest day so far this year

I come home to eat and get the boat ready.
I went to bed at 9:00 to try to get some sleep. Wasn’t going to happen! 9:00 to 10:30 = Neighbors are talking in their backyard

so our 3 year old dog keeps barking at them. 11:30 = Car alarm going off on street behind us.

12:30 = Wife gets up to let our old dog out to pee and he barks. She then comes back in the house and trips on a chair so I need to see if she is O.K. (She was) Try to go back to sleep but since I’m waking up at 2:00 I really can’t so I get up at 1:45. After one of the worst nights trying to sleep Ken shows up right on time at 2:30. We pack and wait

for Randy to show up who’s late. :ASS: He gets there at 3:00. We get down to S.I. at 3:50 where Tim is waiting for us.
We’re in the water at 4:00 and talk about dark and foggy. Thank God for radar and GPS. We get a scoop of great dines from E.B.’s and we're away. After talking to Allen (BasSectomy) I was expecting a bumpy ride out but it really wasn’t bad at all. (Thanks Allen for the report) We arrive at the 302 at around 5:45 and put the trollers in and start the paddy watch heading south. We hook-up almost immediately but it’s a boney. Put them back in and 5 minutes later double hook-up, two more bones. Back in and 10 minutes later another bone. Water was getting steadily cooler going south so we turned around and head back up to the 302. We find a paddy but its not holding.
We decide to troll up to the 226. As soon as we get there, Randy spots a good size paddy

and we set up on the high side. We throw bait and instant bendo,

quad hook-up. Randy farms his and we all land our Yellowtail’s, 7 to 10 lbs. We throw again and all get picked up again. Randy farms his again

and we land ours. We set up on the high side again. Randy

and Ken farm their fish, Tim gets a Yellowtail, I get a big boney. We hook-up again and Tim and Ken get Yellowtail and I get broke off. (Randy is switching poles) We continue to repeat this process. We throw bait and hook-up. Randy

farms his fish and we mostly land ours. On our third pass RawDog comes by and we wave him in. They hook-up as well but the bite starts to slow. On our fourth pass another boat comes by and joins us. Don’t know who they were as they didn’t introduce themselves on the radio.
The bite shuts down after our fifth pass. We made 3 more passes for nada.
We decide to run in to the 439 area looking for paddies but we didn’t find any so we decided to call it a day and ran in. We stopped just short of the bay to fillet our Yellowtail. (All Boney’s released) It took us almost 2 hours to fillet them. We must be out of practice.
Back on the trailer at 3:30 and back in Escondido washing the boat at 4:15.
Score card looks like this: Tim = 5 Yellowtail and 1 Bonita, Ken = 4 Yellowtail and 2 Bonita,

Randy :drugs: = Nada ( 6 Farmed) and Me = 3 Yellowtail and 4 Bonita.
