Nice come back J.T!!! Wish I could have gone with you guys. It seems every time I have to work, the bite is wide open and on my days off it shuts down! WTG!

Way to go JT!! Did you buy your ride, "T's Special T," from a contractor named Tony? Almost bought that boat myself. It is very well equipped and a nice enclosure.

7-10

Was supposed to hook up with another boat & he had to cancel for family emergency, had my brother in law from New Mex. Steve who is a killer salmon fisherman & took me on many trips so it was cool to take him on his first tuna trip. Launched from S.I. 10pm & got a mix of good bait again from E.B. & headed out, had some numbers from Lee from Fri. & just stuck with those as we could see alot of boats east of us. It was crappy with a mixed swell the whole time until the next afternoon at about 40 out. Ran the whole night taking our time, Steve started getting sick at about 3am & was sick the whole time, went through 3 bags but took a licking & kept on ticking, good man, was a little east of the knuckle & went south on the 50 line, heard Sir Fishalot start picking at em & our temp was almost a degree over his, started hitting 62.8 & we got our first hit & temp held around this going south, had plain cedar & purple cedar & black & purple mini's out, plain was the top performer. When we got bit Steve got up & caught his first & at 49w & 29 got bit on all 4 & had one bait going good mayhem action for 2 ended up losing 1 jig, started her up & had a double & a bait again. I don't believe they were bluefin, just slug albies as 2 times broke off on big fish it was hard as steve was down for the count & leaving the boat in gear to keep the lines clear. Turned the boat & went N. was done, 4 were 15lbs & rest were slugs. Water looked real good again all the way up through the hidden bank, Steve was gone so did not want to pour it on pretty much ran in. Water was 63 to 64 all the way up past the hidden. I did get the Boat from Tony & I had 5yrs on a center panga & when I saw that pilot house I had to have it. I keep it loaded down with everything & it pounds not the other way around & not being wet is tops. I'll try to edit this & post pics. Later
