Don't tell Team Triggerfish that the fat lady is even warming up! Fished Monday with brother Frank (Tuna Master) just below the 60 mile bank for a handful of beautiful tuna. Albacore, Bluefin, Yellowfin and a handful of pesky skippies to keep things interesting. A kelp late in the day produced some small yellows and one decent fish.

Brother Frank looks tired!

Several nice bluefin were welcomed to the deck of the Triggerfish.

Then we caught a couple of yellowfin.

Oooooh! I'm on again!

We had a sustained plunker bite -- nothing wide open, but occasional flurries of activity. The meter marks were unreal, so we stuck with it and made a day of it.

And a mixed bag on the deck.

Fog was hazardous coming and going again this trip. Thank God for the radar!Fun fishing with you again, brother Frank. Until our next adventure aboard the Triggerfish!

Robert and Bro Frank...waytago!

It's gonna be a great Fall/early Winter bite, just like it always is when there's a Nino.

And The Fat Lady? Hell, she just got here and she ain't even thinkin' of leaving yet!

Robert

Enough said with the pics!

They are still there with the deep temp. (Last couple days, marks have been good at 100', even with the last wind event)

Let's see what happens? Still an early El Nino, next spring summer, should be really good. I agree with Fred, this fall/winter, might surprise us.

Google "ENSO".

Last update was 10/8 with some new models predicting "moderate to strong". Look at past El Nino patterns. (97/98, 83/84) to compare.

Great job out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich

With the fish at lower depths .... are you guys trolling with down riggers to bring them up? Or, is this not needed.
