Whats is interesting to me is that most yellows are able to reproduce at only 2 years old, and all will reproduce at 3 years old. A 3 year old female will weigh about 10 pounds and spawn approximately 450,000 eggs; however, a 25 pound female will produce more than 1 million eggs. Ask yourself should we keep the big girls? Or just drop them back in the water and only call them at 2am when were hammered and horny?

wow...I gotta admit there have been some VERY small rats taken this year...I personally threw a few back myself on my last trip ...but on the flip side there are A LOT of yellows and tuna out there and if folks wanna kill some pups then thats there perogative...at least there is a count limit in place...
