11-19 swordie!

made lemonade from lemons by turning work related travel into a nighttime swordfishing adventure.

caught this billie within five minutes after stopping the boat by dropping a live blue runner down 100 feet with an electralume 21 miles off Fort Lauderdale. Caught another one later on a squid fished 75 feet down. Almost every boat in the area had 2 to 5 bites over about 3 hours.

What did you do with the bill? I have seen some very cool trophys with the bill mounted on top of a silver/chrome base with engraving.
