Mako madness and monster yellows on the Gulf Coast

It has been a while since I have been to the site and about a year since Max came fishing with me down in Louisiana..the tuna fish and big ones for our area have shown up off of Louisiana..Capt. Sonny put the hurt on them last week before the big blow..he had a 140# and 120# in the box out of 6 bites..the fish have been following the huge schools of mullet that move offshore this time of year..where you find mullet you find tuna, sharks and marlin..there were 3 marlin caught last week, one on a spinning rod not by us but other boats working the school..Sonny had a 250# mako in the following days..the mako also go where the tuna are just as on your coast..I had a TV crew on my boat and we shot parts of the 45 minute battle at close range..got one good 10 foot jump out of the big shark before it was gaffed and killed..the wind has kept us at the docks this week but we hope to get out by the weekend..Capt. Scott Paradise Outfitters

hey Skipper

I have fished with those guys Paradise Outfitters and they are first rate. It is nice to fish with english speaking hard working guys that really want to catch big fish. Paradise Outfitters make it happen.

I fished Venice in April. I had a good time but didn't feel like the guys on the boat we were on worked hard enough. Next time I'll try Paradise Outfitters. The also post reports on this site. http://www.jerrylabella.com/guest_book.htm
