| albies bluefin yellow tail and dodo 10-25
Started off the day at 2:00am got two scoops of bait and were off, headed to the 390 and the 213.About 9 miles in we hit a really bad fog bank that lasted until just short of the 390. And I am sure glad we put the new 1834cnt nav net system on that boat. You couldn't see 20 feet in that shit the whole ride out.Any ways we got to the 390 at day break and dropped in the troll rods.found a paddy and it was on two nice 20 lbs bluefin in the boat. hit the next paddy for wide open yellows from 10 lbs trolled around for some blind skipy gig strikes and hit a few more paddies for a nice dodo on iron. It was my biddies first time with a iron fish on the boat never got one before on the iron. Then we got some numbers from a guy just west of the 390 that had wide open ablies going so we put 10 ablies in the box. Igot one to go on the slide with a black and purple fish trap on 15 lbs test that was fun. I had never done that before either. The weather started to pick up and it was getting late. Hit the fog again on the way in but cleared up around the 9 mile bank. All in All great day on the water and other than the fog the weather was amazing. We had a graet day and what a way to close out the season.Fish count:10 ablies
6 yellow tail
all you want skip jack 2 kept for lobster bait
2 bluefin
1 dodo
Water was 66.2-67.8 all day and we were west of the 390 on the ablies. The gigs we were using were the tuna clones black and purple small was the key. we couldn't set the gigs out fast enough. It also seemed to be going off a little more at the 390 more so then the 213 so good luck and if this weather holds get out there.
