Real quick, for those heading out tomorrow, heard radio chatter today from the boat Mistress down below the knuckles catching all you want Yellowtail (6-12lbs) on a paddy at 58/13. Water was blue with 70 –72 degree water. Radio report of no fish at the 371, 302, 182, 181. Now for our report. Decided to take a peek out at the local banks, since we got the boat back and needed to make sure the motors are running good. Cleared Point Loma by 7:30am with a short scoop of not so hot horse deens from EB. Ran out to S9 and found nothing but green water. Continued on down to the 425 and a few miles west of the islands at 24/21 found tons of bait balls and bonies. Water temp was 66.0 degrees. Caught a bunch of those on mega bait (hitting it on the sink) and continued south. Got the 425 and found more green water with 65.5 degree water. Turned east and got to the 101 with more green 65.4 degree water. Turned back north for the islands. Not one single paddy spotted during the run. While cruising through the west side of south island, our meter lit up on a hump. Dropped the double dropper loops down and proceeded to pull a nice mix bag of bottom critters consisting of reds, lings, sculpins, treefish, starries, and other misc rockfish for the next hour. After loading up on taco meat, we began slow trolling hoping for a Yellowtail or two. Picked up two more bonies on slow trolled fish traps. Stopped by Pukey Point, made a final drop to the bottom and got Mex limits. Green 66.0 degree water at the islands with lots of sea dogs. Cleaned up and shot home running 25 knots in absolute horrible conditions

Talked with Going to Miss Her on the radio today. Nice chatting with you. Hope you got some taco meet from the hump.
