9/30 Fishing Report

Left MB 5am with 1 scoop hot dines. Bringing boat back to newport so headed to 181 for nada, weather great with light breeze some mixed swell went on to cross 33/118 found 1 boat working large pod mammals holding fish at 50ft. no takers water 69.1 and off color. Did the dance for hour and headed to 209 water getting cooler, heard radio chatter of someone trying to bait 2 swordies (no location) decided to change up and re-rig for marlin to the 14 mile nada. Wind really started to kick up so brought everything in and hammer down to home. Stopped on one large paddie loaded with bait did a drift and picked up 2 nice bonies, drifted a couple more times for nothing, back to the barn. Great day on water with my bud Ryan.

Hope water clears up and holds temp because the Yellow Fin Tuna are still there. Give us one more shot!l

Your hope is warranted. See this link for all the warm waters off shore.

Now go and catch some tuna and post a real report.
